“Universal Children’s Day 2010″ celebrated at Government Centennial High School No.1, District Tank under the Project of Khwendo Kor “Child Protection Project” funded by UNICEF with great Pomp and Show. In this program more than 4000 participants participated (children’s of 14 Child Protection Centers of Khwendo Kor, children from different private and government Schools, their parents, Members of Khwendo Kor’s Child Protection Committees, lawyers, media men etc). The Chief Guest of the program was Mr. Bilal Ahmed Meer, ACO/Team Leader of DRU (District Response Unit), District Tank. On this occasion children presented gymnastic, PT Show, Karate Show, poems, national anthem, dance, role plays, speeches, magic Show, Candle and lamps lighting in the evening, Athiash Bazi etc. Launch for 4000 participants and dinner for the participants of night program was also arranged on this occasion. This Program was highly appreciated by DRU and District Administration of Tank and rewarded Khwendo Kor Tank an “Appreciation Certificate” for arranging so beautiful, colorful. Historical program for children and organizing a Rally after 10 years in the history of District Tank.
